Lord You Know Me A Sabbath Rest

O, Lord You have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sat down and when I stand up. You know every thought from far away. You chart the path ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest. Psalm 139:1-3 NLT

Prayer
Today LORD You tell me to stop and rest with You. In Your Holy presence I come. I come away from the call of the world, seeking renewal and refreshment in You and in Your holy word. In Your Presence I find love shadowed by faith, righteousness and peace kissing, clinging together to shower me with Your blessings. Refresh my memory, remind me of all your pass blessings; how you have always been there for me, since I met you I have never been alone. Father I seek your face, wipe away my sins. Give me strength to change my ways, pour out showers of blessings to refresh me. In Jesus Name I pray Amen.

Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Psalm 85:10
Now it's time to change your ways! Turn to face God so he can wipe away your sins, pour out showers of blessing to refresh you, Acts 3:19

Meditate on the beginning Scripture.

Quiet your heart, spirit and soul. Listen for God’s voice.
What is the Lord saying to your heart?

1-Ask God to reveal His findings to you.
2-Ask God to reveal what He would have you to change
3-Ask God to reveal the secret things of your heart and thoughts.
4-Ask God to reveal those things which hinders you.
5-Ask God to reveal the path He has charted for you.
6-Ask God to reveal the steps you need to take to follow the path He has charted.

Offer Praise for those things God has revealed to you.

If the path I travel
Lead me to the cross,
If the way Thou choosest
Lead to pain and loss,
Let the compensation
Daily, hourly, be
Shadowless communion,
Blessed Lord, with Thee.
If there's less of earth joy,
Give, Lord, more of heaven.
Let the spirit praise Thee,
Though the heart be riven;
If sweet earthly ties, Lord,
Break at Thy decree,
Let the tie that binds us,
Closer, sweeter, be.
Lonely though the pathway,
Cheer it with Thy smile;
Be Thou my companion
Through earth's little while;
Selfless may I live, Lord,
By Thy grace to be
Just a cleansed channel
For Thy life through me.

Arise Woman Of God
Rise up O woman of God
In what He has given you
The things God has laid on your heart
Rise up, go forth, and do

Unlock what God has placed within
The potential you have inside
The world is waiting for your release
To expand your wings and fly

Arise in your God-given gifts
For this is your finest hour
Arise in the Lord’s holy might
Ignited and empowered

For God is calling you to come forth
To impact this world for Him
Don’t hold back or limit yourself
Let His power arise within

And take His message to the world
To those that have lost their way
For you can surely make a difference
If you’d hear His voice and obey

You shall be strengthened in the Lord
As you begin to arise
Conquering those doubts that pull you down
And believe who you are in Christ

For you shall surely be transformed
As, in you, God increases more
And become a woman of true excellence
Bringing honour to her Lord

With Jesus

Guide yourself into the presence of the Lord today.

The LORD is God, shining upon us. Bring forward the sacrifice and put it on the altar. Psalm 118:27 (NLT)

Today all day just mediate/rest on what this scripture is saying to you. How does it speak to your heart? What does it tell you about God? What is it telling you to do? Identify those things you will sacrifice to the Lord. Identify your altar. When will you begin to take your offering to the altar?

Let the following scriptures lead you today.
Lord, your word is everlasting; it continues forever in heaven. Psalm 119:89
How I love your teachings! I think about them all day long. Psalm 119:97

Prayer
My God and Lord in your presence is where I seek to be. Please guide me to thy holy throne. Speak to my heart and teach me your way. At the close of this day Lord let me say I have been with Jesus all the day long. In the Name of my Redeemer and Friend Jesus I pray.

All the Day Long
My soul seek to communes with you
All the Day Long
My soul clings to your holy presence
All the day Long
My heart seek to hear your voice
All the Day long
My heart search for your holy presence
All the day long with Jesus my hope, my prayer, my heart desire.

Holy Spirit- My Sabbath Rest

Mediation
Before you begin mediating on today’s scripture pray the following prayer.
Sweet Holy Spirit You are welcome in this place. I welcome You into my heart, spirit and soul. I welcome You Holy Spirit into my time of Worship, Guide me Holy Spirit into Thy Holy of Holies where I may find a Sabbath Rest.

Mediate on the following Scripture. Read it at least 3 times

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, Ephesians 1:13
What is being spoken to your heart? What is God telling you about your relationship with Him? How is God telling or showing you His love in the verse? How does this knowledge draw you closer to God? Share any thoughts with God through prayer or praise or write it in your journal for renewal and strength in the future.

Scripture Study
John 14: 15-25
"If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever-- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him." Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, "But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?" Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. "All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you".

Come Holy Spirit
Jesus did not leave you without hope, without guidance, or without comfort or peace. In fact Jesus promised if you would obey His commands the entire Trinity would dwell in you. Imagine the Father, Son and Holy Spirit has made their home with you. What great power, what great love within you. You are one with the Trinity, you are special for this is not for the world but just for you who have chosen to love and believe Christ. Because of your obedience to Christ you have the love of God and with God’s love come grace, mercy, compassion, faithfulness, deliverance, joy and much much more. You have your very own personal teacher in the presence of the Holy Spirit. You do not have to lack in knowledge or wisdom, God prepared the way for you to possess all you need to walk in His light. Grieve not the Spirit of the Lord, but claim Him as your own, He is waiting to have an up close and personal relationship with Him. He is waiting not only to reveal God to you as your God but to take you in to the Holy presence where you may dwell day by day, eternally in His Holy tabernacle.

I am one with Thee, Lord Jesus,
One in spirit now with Thee;
All Thyself I now possess, Lord,
All Thou art now lives in me.
One with Thee, one with Thee,
One with Thee, one with Thee;
Day by day I share Thy riches,
Thou art everything to me.
Now I share Thy human life, Lord,
Filled with Thy humanity,
All of Thy complete obedience
Is available to me.
One with Thee in crucifixion,
On the cross I died in Thee;
I am dead unto the world, Lord,
And the world is dead to me.
One with Thee in resurrection,
Risen now to live in Thee,
With that life which is Thyself, Lord,
Now in me, Lord, even me.
One with Thee in Thine ascension,
In the heavens now with Thee;
Here a pilgrim and a stranger,
My true life is hid in Thee.
One with Thee in Thine enthronement,
Sharing Thine authority,
Even as I share Thy life, Lord,
I in Thee and Thou in me.

His Eye

God's Love

Rest On the Following Scripture throughout your Sabbath Time. What is being spoken to your heart?

"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. John 15:9

God confirms Christ words to us.
Then a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and a voice came from the cloud: "This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!" Mark 9:7

Consider the ways in which Christ has loved you? Make a list in your journal. Write a praise of thanks and love to God the Father and God the Son.

Reflection
Reflect on the following scriptures; write out the ways in which God has shown His love for you.

And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. Romans 5:5

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Ro 5:8

You gave me life itself, and incredible love. You watched and guarded every breath I took. Job 10:12

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:4-7

Sabbath Study
Psalm 23:1-6 (The Message)
God, my shepherd! I don't need a thing. You have bedded me down in lush meadows; you find me quiet pools to drink from. True to your word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction. Even when the way goes through Death Valley, I'm not afraid when you walk at my side. Your trusty shepherd's crook makes me feel secure. You serve me a six-course dinner right in front of my enemies. You revive my drooping head; my cup brims with blessing. Your beauty and love chase after me every day of my life. I'm back home in the house of God for the rest of my life.

God because of His great love and care for us supplies all we need, we don’t stand in want. If you find yourself wanting take time to examine your self and your situation. Evaluate where this “want” is coming from, what are you doing to create this want? Are you recognizing what God has placed in your life, do you rest in the lust green pastures He daily provides? Identify what green pastures look like for you. Have you made it a part of your life to have quiet times with God? Have you created sacred spaces in your heart, home, community where your can drink of the Lord. “On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink (John 7:37)
God in His great love provide us guidance, even when we are walking in the valley God is there to meet us at our need; providing us safe passage. Imagine of all the gods our God chases after us with His love is there anything, or any other love as beautiful in your life? God promises us a dwelling place all the days of our lives even into eternity. Begin to dwell in God’s love today, dwell in His Holy Presence it is full and complete, leaving you with no “want.”

Life Application
Make a commitment to take all your needs this week to God.
1-Ask Him if it is really a need, ask Him to show you how He has already provided for this need to be met.
2-Find a scripture for each need
3-Mediate and pray on the scripture
4-Wait for God’s answer
5-Give thanks when it is supplied
6-encourage someone else by sharing how God met your need

Loved with everlasting love

Loved with everlasting love,
Led by grace that love to know;
Spirit, breathing from above,
Thou hast taught me it is so.
Oh, this full and perfect peace!
Oh, this transport all divine!
In a love which cannot cease,
I am His, and He is mine.
Things that once were wild alarms
Cannot now disturb my rest;
Closed in everlasting arms,
Pillowed on the loving breast.
Oh, to lie forever here,
Doubt and care and self resign,
While He whispers in my ear,
I am His, and He is mine.
His forever, only His:
Who the Lord and me shall part?
Ah, with what a rest of bliss
Christ can fill the loving heart.
Heaven and earth may fade and flee,
Firstborn light in gloom decline;
But, while God and I shall be,
I am His, and He is mine.

George W. Robinson
