My Soul Says Yes

The Presence of the Lord
My Soul is Silent-Preparation

Be silent, my soul, in the presence of the Lord. He is coming out of the holy place where he lives. (Zechariah 2:13, paraphrased)

The Lord is in his Holy Temple; my soul shall be silent in his presence." (Habakkuk 2:20, paraphrased)

Read the above verses at least 3 times slowly let them penetrate your mind and your senses. Try repeating the verses without looking at them. Quiet your soul. Quiet your Spirit. Close your eyes and think about the Holy Lord coming out of His temple to meet with you right now. Imagine what the Lord will say to you as you meet with Him. (Stay here as long as you like.)

Let a woman learn by listening quietly. (1Timothy 2:11a)

Lord Thy God May I enter Your Holy Presence?
My Soul meets with God

Continue in the Presence of the Lord, pray, study the following scriptures, let the Holy Spirit Lead you) Offer a prayer to the Lord, what is He speaking to your heart? This may be a good time to journal your thoughts.

Prayer Starter
Lord, into Your Holy Presence I desire to come. You are a lover of prayer and Father I stand before You offering a prayer of love, thanksgiving and praise. Bring me Father into Your presence, to Your Holy Temple, quiet my soul, Holy Spirit I welcome You, guide me to the Father where there are pleasures of joys. Take me to a place of worship and help me to lift and magnify the Name of the Lord. In the great name of Jesus I pray. Amen

Mediate on the following scriptures, read them several times. Think about what God is telling you to do. (Obey)

After he had sent them away, he went by himself up into the hills to pray. It was late, and Jesus was there alone. (Matthew 14:23)

But Jesus often slipped away to be alone so he could pray. (Luke 5:16)

At that time Jesus went off to a mountain to pray, and he spent the night praying to God. (Luke 6:12)

Because of your great love, I can come into your Temple. Because I fear and respect you, I can worship in your holy Temple. Psalm 5:7

Write or say a prayer giving worship. Focus only on God’s attributes. Make a list in your journal or in your heart of God’s attributes.
God you are Awesome, Beautiful is the Lord, the Lord is wonderful in all His ways. My God you are full of loving kindness, your mercies never cease they are new every morning. The Lord is trust worthy and full of compassion. Continue with your own list.

My Soul Wakes Up

O my soul, bless God. From head to toe, I'll bless his holy name! O my soul, bless God, don't forget a single blessing! Psalm 103:1-2

Bless God, all creatures, wherever you are - everything and everyone made by God. And you, O my soul, bless God!

I thank you, High God - you're breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration - what a creation!

Hallelujah! O my soul, praise God!

Sabbath Study
Psalm 27
The Lord is my light and the one who saves me. I fear no one. The Lord protects my life; I am afraid of no one. Evil people may try to destroy my body. My enemies and those who hate me attack me, but they are overwhelmed and defeated. If an army surrounds me, I will not be afraid. If war breaks out, I will trust the Lord. I ask only one thing from the Lord. This is what I want: all my life. And look with my own eyes at his Temple. During danger he will keep me safe in his shelter. He will hide me in his Holy Tent, or he will keep me safe on a high mountain. My head is higher than my enemies around me. I will offer joyful sacrifices in his Holy Tent. I will sing and praise the Lord.
Lord, hear me when I call; have mercy and answer me. My heart said of you, "Go, worship him." So I come to worship you, Lord. Do not turn away from me. Do not turn your servant away in anger; you have helped me. Do not push me away or leave me alone, God, my Savior. If my father and mother leave me, the Lord will take me in. Lord, teach me your ways, and guide me to do what is right because I have enemies. Do not hand me over to my enemies, because they tell lies about me and say they will hurt me. I truly believe I will live to see the Lord's goodness. Wait for the Lord's help. Be strong and brave, and wait for the Lord's help.

Life Application
“My Soul is Changed”
Make a list of all God is in Psalm 27
Make a list of all God does for you or will do for you in Psalm 27
Read the Psalm again and praise God for every blessing you identified.

"When the people of the land come into the Lord's presence at the special feasts, those who enter through the north gate to worship must go out through the south gate. Those who enter through the south gate must go out through the north gate. They must not return the same way they entered; everyone must go out the opposite way. (Ezekiel 46:9 NCV)

Ask yourself, is there any difference in me. Am I leaving the Lord’s Presence differently than when I enter? The Lord says we must not return to our lives the same way. When we leave His Holy Presence we should be the opposite of what we were when we entered. Our praise, our worship, our thoughts, our actions, our speech, our soul, heart, and spirit should be different. Do you need to return back to the Lord or are you leaving His presence a transform woman?

Speak, Lord, in the stillness
Speak, Lord, in the stillness,
While I wait on Thee;
Hushed my heart to listen,
In expectancy.

Speak, O blessed Master,
In this quiet hour;
Let me see Thy face, Lord,
Feel Thy touch of power.

For the words Thou speakest,
They are life indeed;
Living bread from heaven,
Now my spirit feed!

All to Thee is yielded,
I am not my own;
Blissful, glad surrender,
I am Thine alone.

Speak, Thy servant heareth,
Be not silent, Lord;
Waits my soul upon Thee
For the quickening word.

Fill me with the knowledge
Of Thy glorious will;
All Thine own good pleasure
In Thy child fulfill.

Like a watered garden,
Full of fragrance rare,
Lingering in Thy presence,
Let my life appear.

The Temple

My Desire Today Lord
My Lord my great desire is to be the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people." "Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you." "I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty." Father make me Your daughter, having therefore these promises, let me cleanse myself from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 6:16b- 7:1

The Beauty of the Lord
Father I come into Your Holy Presence, to gaze upon Your beauty.

The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes the sons of men; his eyes examine them. Psalm 11:4

Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple. Psalm 65:4

I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word. Psalm 138:2

Sabbath Study
Matthew 21:12-17
Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. "It is written," he said to them, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'" The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them. But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they were indignant. "Do you hear what these children are saying?" they asked him. "Yes," replied Jesus, "have you never read, "'From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise'?" And he left them and went out of the city to Bethany, where he spent the night.

We are the temple of God and we are called to be a house of prayer. We are not to rob God in our bodies. Bodies belonging to God should be kept holy and pure. When we approach God in prayer we should do so with an attitude of gratefulness, love, joy and honor. When we come to God troubled we should first cleanse ourselves of our sorrows by giving them all to God; removing all which hinders our praise, and our worship. Often we are taught to pray for others first, but learn from Christ who when He met the Father in the Garden of Gethsemane before His death He first prayed for Himself and than for the disciples and us; “These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. Don’t rob God of the delight and joy to hear and answer your prayer; cleanse yourself from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. In your distress call to the Lord; “I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.”

Remember whose you are and what you are, don’t you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? (1 Corinthians 6:16) Keep your temple in a stance of prayer; cleansed of all unrighteousness, letting no unholy activities enter.

But I, by your great mercy, will come into your house; in reverence will I bow down toward your holy temple.

My Sabbath Prayer
Father God to Your great Name we give praise and glory, for You O Lord have made us Your temple. Keep us cleanse of all ungodliness and help us to remember not only do Your good Presence abide within us but we are a house of prayer dedicated to bringing glory to Your Holy Name. In Jesus Name

The Church the vessel is to Christ
The Church the vessel is to Christ,
Him to contain and Him express, Just as the human body doth
Man’s life show forth, his life possess.
As was the temple to the ark,
Receptacle and resting-place;
So Christ the Church’s content is,
And in the Church, Christ’s dwelling-place.
As Christ is God’s true mystery,
God to explain and God express;
So is the Church Christ’s mystery,
Christ to explain and manifest.
The members of the Church of Christ
Are all primarily of clay;
They need to be transformed and made
Transparent, precious day by day.
By transformation they are built,
A vessel they to Christ afford;
His all-inclusiveness they hold;
Transparent, they express the Lord.
Thru all the transformation work
The triune God performs in them,
The Church a corporate vessel is
And like the new Jerusalem.
How precious she in each respect,
Transparent too in every phase;
Christ with God’s fulness she contains,
Christ with God’s glory she displays.
With Christ as life, with God as light,
And with the Spirit’s living flow,
The triune God she manifests
For all the universe to know.

DO YOU WANT TO GET WELL? My Sabbath Rest

"My Desire Today Lord"

In view of Your great mercy my God, I desire to offer my body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You God--this is my spiritual act of worship. No longer will I conform to the pattern of this world, but I desire to be transformed by the renewing of my mind. Then I will be able to test and approve what Your will is God's --Your good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2 (Paraphrased)

"The Beauty of the Lord"
Father I come into Your Holy Presence, to gaze upon Your beauty.

Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.

The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

This is good, and pleases God our Savior who wants all men to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth.

Surely you have granted him eternal blessings and made him glad with the joy of your presence.

"Sabbath Study"
Some time later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for a feast of the Jews. Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades. Here a great number of disabled people used to lie--the blind, the lame, the paralyzed. One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, "Do you want to get well?" "Sir," the invalid replied, "I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me." Then Jesus said to him, "Get up! Pick up your mat and walk." At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. The day on which this took place was a Sabbath, and so the Jews said to the man who had been healed, "It is the Sabbath; the law forbids you to carry your mat." But he replied, "The man who made me well said to me, 'Pick up your mat and walk.'" So they asked him, "Who is this fellow who told you to pick it up and walk?" The man who was healed had no idea who it was, for Jesus had slipped away into the crowd that was there. Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, "See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you." The man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jews persecuted him. Jesus said to them, "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working." John 5:1-17

Do you want to get well? Jesus says “my daughter right now, this minute, today pick up your mat and walk”. “Daughter get up grab hold of your issues, worries, fears, self-doubts, troubles, loses, trails, tribulations, struggles, hurts, and all your broken pieces stop setting on them, they are ho longer a cushion for you. Today is the day of freedom; daughter release yourself from all those burdens. Pick up your strength, grab hold of your courage and stop letting the crowd hold you back. The world will not support you stop waiting on it. The world is selfish and evil and will not carry you into the water; besides the water you require comes only from me and only I can stir the waters which lead to healing: Trust me, put your faith in the One who cares for you, loves you and came that you might have life more abundantly. Walk my daughter right now, today enter the temple of the Lord and drop all at the altar of sacrifice.”

Offer your body to Christ shed of burdens and problems, and troubles. Stop! Why do you continually hold on to things which don’t enhance your life or your relationship with God? “Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you." God can and will handle all these things for you, they are nothing for Him. Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had you in mind, had settled on you as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. (Ephesians 1:4, paraphrased) Let Him love you today my sister.

Do you want to get well?
Worship the Lord by Escaping from your pool of Bethesda; Letting go of all which tie you to the pool and Leaving all at the altar, becoming an offering of spiritual worship.

"My Sabbath Prayer"
Lord thy God lead me to worship you with my all, my life to you I freely give in spirit and truth. I lay my all on the altar today; strengthen me so I will take back nothing. Lord I want to be well; I shall pick up my mat and walk into Your Holy Presence where I will find healing for my soul. To Your holy name Lord, my God I give the glory. And in the name of Jesus I pray. Amen

"I Surrender All"
All to Jesus I surrender
All to Him I freely give
I will ever love and trust him
In his presence daily live
I surrender all, I surrender all
All to Thee my blessed Savior
I surrender all
All to Jesus I surrender
At thy feet I humble bow
Worldly pleasures all forsaken
Take me, Jesus, Take me now
I surrender all, I surrender all
All to Thee my blessed Savior
I surrender all
All to Jesus I surrender
Lord, I give myself to thee
Fill me with thy love and power
Let thy blessing fall on me
I surrender all, I surrender all
All to Thee my blessed Savior
I surrender all

Fill MY CUP A Sabbath Rest

My Desire Today Lord
One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. Psalm 27:4

The Beauty of the Lord
Father I come into Your Holy Presence, to gaze upon Your beauty.
Your love is unfailing.
Your faith surrounds you.
Your mercies are new every morning.
Your compassion is untouchable.
Your strength guides me to Your holy dwelling.
Your beauty is everlasting and sure.

Sabbath Study
Mark 3:1-12
Another time he went into the synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Some of them were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath. Jesus said to the man with the shriveled hand, "Stand up in front of everyone." Then Jesus asked them, "Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?" But they remained silent. He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored.

Be restored in your heart, mine and spirit this Sabbath day. Take a few minutes and ask the Lord to give you restoration in those areas where you have grown tired and weary. Ask the Lord to restore your heart to Him as He prepares you for the week ahead.

He said to them, "This is what the Lord commanded: 'Tomorrow is to be a day of rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord. So bake what you want to bake and boil what you want to boil. Save whatever is left and keep it until morning.'" Exodus 16:23

Today is now tomorrow, rest today, relax and fill your cup with strength from the Lord that you will be prepared to face whatever challenges come your way this week.

The Lord replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." Exodus 33:14
The Lord desires to share in rest with you today. He is waiting for you to call to Him, invite Him in and than soak in His Holy Presence.
R-Renew your mind with His Holy Word
E-Enter His Presence with thanksgivings.
S-Seek the Lord while He can be found, seek with your whole heart, mine and soul.
T- Timeless is the word of the Lord. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.

My Sabbath Prayer
Father God today I desire to dwell in Your Holy Temple. I come to the throne of grace today, that I might find you for You said I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. (Proverbs 8:17)
I seek You today with my whole heart, all of my mind and with a giving spirit. To set at Your feet for a while is my heart desire. Meet with O Lord, come Holy Spirit I open the door for Your Presence. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

Fill my cup fill it up and make me whole
Like the woman at the well I was seeking
For things that could not satisfy
And then I heard my Savior speaking
Draw from my well that never shall run dry
Fill my cup Lord I lift it up Lord
Come and quench this thirsting of my soul
Bread of heaven Feed me till I want no more
Fill my cup fill it up and make me whole
There are millions in this world who are craving
The pleasures earthly things afford
But none can match the wondrous treasure
That I find in Jesus Christ my Lord
Fill my cup Lord I lift it up Lord
Come and quench this thirsting of my soul
Bread of heaven Feed me till I want no more
Fill my cup fill it up and make me whole
So my brother if the things this world gave you
Leave hungers that won't pass away
My blessed Lord will come and save you
If you kneel to Him and humbly pray
Fill my cup Lord I lift it up Lord
Come and quench this thirsting of my soul
Bread of heaven Feed me till I want no more
