DO YOU WANT TO GET WELL? My Sabbath Rest

"My Desire Today Lord"

In view of Your great mercy my God, I desire to offer my body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You God--this is my spiritual act of worship. No longer will I conform to the pattern of this world, but I desire to be transformed by the renewing of my mind. Then I will be able to test and approve what Your will is God's --Your good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2 (Paraphrased)

"The Beauty of the Lord"
Father I come into Your Holy Presence, to gaze upon Your beauty.

Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.

The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

This is good, and pleases God our Savior who wants all men to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth.

Surely you have granted him eternal blessings and made him glad with the joy of your presence.

"Sabbath Study"
Some time later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for a feast of the Jews. Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades. Here a great number of disabled people used to lie--the blind, the lame, the paralyzed. One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, "Do you want to get well?" "Sir," the invalid replied, "I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me." Then Jesus said to him, "Get up! Pick up your mat and walk." At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. The day on which this took place was a Sabbath, and so the Jews said to the man who had been healed, "It is the Sabbath; the law forbids you to carry your mat." But he replied, "The man who made me well said to me, 'Pick up your mat and walk.'" So they asked him, "Who is this fellow who told you to pick it up and walk?" The man who was healed had no idea who it was, for Jesus had slipped away into the crowd that was there. Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, "See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you." The man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jews persecuted him. Jesus said to them, "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working." John 5:1-17

Do you want to get well? Jesus says “my daughter right now, this minute, today pick up your mat and walk”. “Daughter get up grab hold of your issues, worries, fears, self-doubts, troubles, loses, trails, tribulations, struggles, hurts, and all your broken pieces stop setting on them, they are ho longer a cushion for you. Today is the day of freedom; daughter release yourself from all those burdens. Pick up your strength, grab hold of your courage and stop letting the crowd hold you back. The world will not support you stop waiting on it. The world is selfish and evil and will not carry you into the water; besides the water you require comes only from me and only I can stir the waters which lead to healing: Trust me, put your faith in the One who cares for you, loves you and came that you might have life more abundantly. Walk my daughter right now, today enter the temple of the Lord and drop all at the altar of sacrifice.”

Offer your body to Christ shed of burdens and problems, and troubles. Stop! Why do you continually hold on to things which don’t enhance your life or your relationship with God? “Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you." God can and will handle all these things for you, they are nothing for Him. Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had you in mind, had settled on you as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. (Ephesians 1:4, paraphrased) Let Him love you today my sister.

Do you want to get well?
Worship the Lord by Escaping from your pool of Bethesda; Letting go of all which tie you to the pool and Leaving all at the altar, becoming an offering of spiritual worship.

"My Sabbath Prayer"
Lord thy God lead me to worship you with my all, my life to you I freely give in spirit and truth. I lay my all on the altar today; strengthen me so I will take back nothing. Lord I want to be well; I shall pick up my mat and walk into Your Holy Presence where I will find healing for my soul. To Your holy name Lord, my God I give the glory. And in the name of Jesus I pray. Amen

"I Surrender All"
All to Jesus I surrender
All to Him I freely give
I will ever love and trust him
In his presence daily live
I surrender all, I surrender all
All to Thee my blessed Savior
I surrender all
All to Jesus I surrender
At thy feet I humble bow
Worldly pleasures all forsaken
Take me, Jesus, Take me now
I surrender all, I surrender all
All to Thee my blessed Savior
I surrender all
All to Jesus I surrender
Lord, I give myself to thee
Fill me with thy love and power
Let thy blessing fall on me
I surrender all, I surrender all
All to Thee my blessed Savior
I surrender all

Great are the works of the Lord,
Glorious and majestic are His deeds and
His righteousness endures forever.

Slow to anger and rich in love.
The Lord is good to all;
He has compassion on all He has made.
All Your works praise you, Lord
