Seeking

Sabbath Reflection
I am not a mystery
I am not in hiding
I am not a far off
I am not in the distance future
I am not out of reach
I am not untouchable
I am not off limits
I am not behind a veil you cannot enter
I am close, ready to reveal myself to you. You can reach me day or night
I am available, distance does not separate us, you can touch me daily at any time, the veil has been torn
I am waiting to be found
If you look for me wholeheartly, you will find me. I will be found by you, says the Lord.

Seek the Lord with your wholeheart, put your all into seeking Him, rest with Him today just open His word and have a conversation with Him. Listen with your heart and spirit. He is waiting to hear from you, to bless you, to love you, to have you know Him.

Application
Mediate upon a scripture or scripture
begin with prayer inviting the Holy Spirit to come inot your presence, to
speak to your heart, to reveal God to you.
Read it out loud until it begins to speak to your spirit.
Note the word or words which stands out to you, grabs your attention.
How do you feel about these words?
What do you believe God is saying to you? Put your name in where appropriate
Willnette will seek me and find me. When Willnette seek me with all of
Willnette's heart, I will be found by Willnete declares, the Lord.

Stop please and indulge me- go back and substitue your name.
How powerful is this? God speaks directly to us.
Ask God questions.
Write your thoughts without thinking about them just write
Ask God more questions
Pray about anything you don't understand
Pray about anything which comes to mind-others, yourself.
Be still and listen

I know many who comes today are advanced in having a quiet time with God, the Spirit led me and I followed believing God would send someone who needed this post. For those who are advanced may this post bless you in some way.

He Pours

Resting Scripture
"If you watch your step on the Sabbath and don't use my holy day for personal advantage, If you treat the Sabbath as a day of joy, God's holy day as a celebration, If you honor it by refusing 'business as usual,' making money, running here and there - Then you'll be free to enjoy God! Oh, I'll make you ride high and soar above it all. I'll make you feast on the inheritance of your ancestor Jacob." Yes! God says so! Isaiah 58:13-14

Reflection
God created the Sabbath for believers, His sons and daughters. He had those who would call Him Lord with a sincere and believing heart on His mind when He sat aside this day of rest. He is calling us to rest with Him today. He is inviting you to open your heart, spirit, mine and soul to Him. He is inviting you to seek Him afresh. Come to His holy tabernacle and enter His Presence. God is beckoning you to draw nearer, to avail yourself of His wisdom and knowledge, to know Him, to experience Him in new ways. The veil is gone; Jesus ripped it down more than 2000 years ago so you would have no blockage. He opens the way and through Him you may enter the most Holy of Holies. Through Christ you will find rest for your weary soul. All your cares here you can cast.

The Sabbath is a quiet place where you can empty yourself and once you are empty God will pour into you; He will fill you with Living Waters. He will enable you to bear lasting fruit. When you enter a Sabbath Rest God pours, and pours until you leave filled with whatever you need. The Sabbath is where your Spirit can commune with God and leave refreshed and restored; where strength is gained, and peace is obtained. True Sabbath is the place where God begins to prepare shape and mold us for His will. Resting in God brings filling, blessings and joy overflowing. Yes! God says so!

Deeper
Moses said, "This is what God was talking about: Tomorrow is a day of rest, a holy Sabbath to God. Whatever you plan to bake, bake today; and whatever you plan to boil, boil today. Then set aside the leftovers until morning." Exodus 16:23
Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest; that thine ox and thine ass may have rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the sojourner, may be refreshed. Exodus 23:12

And on the Sabbath day we went outside the gate to the riverside, where we supposed there was a place of prayer, and we sat down and spoke to the women who had come together.
Acts 16:13 ESV

Prayer
Father God, thank You for caring for me such You would set aside a day of rest for me. A time I can spend in quiet reflection, a time when I can set aside the cares of the world and truly focus on Your word, drawing closer to You, knowing You and allowing You to Pour Your goodness in me. Lord I thank You for the Sabbath help me to be continually obedient in keeping this Your day, the Lord’s Day. In Jesus Name.

Soul Blessings

Sabbath Rest Scripture
Psalm 63

O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory. Your unfailing love is better to me than life itself; how I praise you! I will honor you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest of foods. I will praise you with songs of joy. I lie awake thinking of you, meditating on you through the night. I think how much you have helped me; I sing for joy in the shadow of your protecting wings. I follow close behind you; your strong right hand holds me securely.

Reflection of My Heart
How these words of David touch my soul today. I mediate on the goodness of God. How He loves me. Because of His unfailing love, I gladly open my lips in praise. He is so worthy of my praise. God has been so good, His promises are sure. I have deeply gazed upon His power and glory. This leads me to continually seek after Him, my soul is in continuous search of Him, because He is my God an gladly helps me in times of trouble, He satisfies my soul such I feel truly satisfied as I have feasted on the richest of food. God holds me in the shadow of His wings; He is my resting place, my hiding place and my place of restoration. I sing for joy at His goodness and His loving care of me. I joyfully seek to follow close behind Him because His strong right hand is my security, forever holding me unto eternity.

Heart Prayer
Lord Thy God my soul is blessed. Your goodness and Your love smother me, surrounding me with grace and mercy. My heart is joyous because You are my loving God, wrapping me securely in Your love. Your blessings are wondrous to my soul, making me glad. I stand in awe of You O my God, forever amazed by Your acts of love. To You O God I give all glory and praise, keep me earnestly seeking You and let Your dwelling place be my sanctuary of rest. In the precious, holy name of Jesus I pray.
